It’s really starting to feel like autumn where we live, which makes me happy! I love the opportunities the chilly weather gives me to get under a warm, fluffy blanket and snuggle up with my family (and a mug of Cozy, Dark Hot Chocolate!).
I also love all of the seasonal foods of autumn! We usually eat soup all-year round, but I especially love soup in the chillier months. This week, I’m making a big pot of my Creamy Pumpkin Soup, and I’m also going to try this Mushroom Soup that Meg shared at Keeper of the Home. Both are great immunity boosters, which we need right now in our house – there have been a few too many sniffles going around lately!
Once again, I am participating again in Stephanie’s Plan It- Don’t Panic! (A 6-Week Meal Planning Challenge). Be sure to check it out for more menu planning inspiration!

This looks like a great menu plan! I love your recipes. This is one of my favorite blogs, you remind me of myself with everything that you’re into and the foods you eat – kindred spirits!
Aww…thanks Rebecca. I’m glad that you enjoy my blog.
It’s so encouraging for me to hear that!
Thank you for your weekly plan! Please pray for my family and I as we are starting today to eat as God intended. I pray that we can make and stick to this commitment as a family and reap the benefits individually in one way or another.
I will do that, Christine.
If you start feeling overwhelmed, sometimes it’s easier to take baby steps rather than trying to change all of your eating habits at once. Don’t be too harsh on yourself if you can’t change everything overnight.
One of my favourites is Potato Leek soup. Sauteed bacon, potatoes, leeks, loads of garlic – run it through the blender and stir in some homemade sour cream. YUM.

I’m so glad you shared that, Emily. I have some leeks in my fridge just waiting to be used, and I had no plans for them. Now I do – sounds delicious! Thanks
Glad to have helped. My favourite part is that, since it’s a blended soup, there’s no need to peel the potatoes. I HATE peeling potatoes
